Technique Workshop

"Steps! More Steps!" my students often clamour yet, the true essence of the dance and the art of leading and following still eludes them.  

Join us for a two hour workshop to take your dancing to the next level.  This class is all about technique; the final touches that will polish up your dancing, give each dance its appropriate flavour and make you shine on the dance floor.

Dancers are often infatuated with learning more and more steps and adding more footwork to their repertoire without a second thought on how they are dancing.  Learn how to truly lead/follow, learn the subtle ways you can add charecteristic flavour to each dance and add to your confidence and enjoyment.

You are ready for this class if you are already comfortable with a variety of steps in each of our 5 standard dances (Waltz, Fox Trot, Rumba, Cha Cha, Tango).

As always, our focus will be on fun as we explore the deeper intricacies of dancing. 

Your instructor, Nicole, began ballroom dancing at the age of 19.  Trained at the Fred Astaire dance studio in Montreal, your instructor has over 40 years of experience teaching.
