With this heat wave, it's appropriate to make this week's theme the Deep South.

The Deep South conjures images of historical gardens, sun hats and dresses, garden benches on which to languish in the heat and thirst quenching teas.

This week I'll share a recipe for Peach Sweet Tea and the famous Mint Julep  - go easy on the mint julep in this heat as alcohol can be dehydrating ;).

Let's meet at the front entrance to the mansion before exploring the garden and finding a delicious spot in which to 'languish'.

There are no garden tours scheduled this week so hopefully the estate won't be too busy.  I'm hoping that doesn't mean there are film studios filmin or we may find our exploring substantially curbed
