Duffins Trail North

We'll explore the Duffins Trail System North.  The trail starts off Elizabeth street, across the street from The Courtyard in Pickering Village.   The corner of Elizabeth St. & Highway 2-Kingston Rd (just west of Church and Highway 2).

The bridge taking us onto the trail seems to be back in service so we'll just scoot across Elizabeth Street and start the trail right at the beginning this year.

The trail follows Duffins Creek along Elizabeth Street almost to Rossland where the Golf Course is.  We'll walk the entire trail and then work our way back to The Courtyard.

The long range forecast calls for a bit of rain on that day so be prepared for rain gear.   Bring water, bug spray and good walking shoes.   If the sun is out, you can bring a sun hat and sunglasses but we will be walking in the fores for  a bit so, it shouldn't be too bad.

There are no bathroom facilities (except for the various shops in the courtyard) so please plan accordingly.
