Duffins Trail North

We'll explore the Duffins Trail System North.  The trail starts off Elizabeth street, across the street from The Courtyard in Pickering Village.   The corner of Elizabeth St. & Highway 2-Kingston Rd (just west of Church and Highway 2).

The bridge taking us onto the trail is out of service so we'll walk up Elizabeth Street a couple of blocks to enter the trail a little further up.

The trail follows Duffins Creek along Elizabeth Street almost to Rossland where the Golf Course is.  We'll walk the entire trail and then work our way back to The Courtyard.

The forecast calls for heat and sunshine on Monday so, bring water, bug spray and good walking shoes.   A sun hat and sunglasses would probably be a good idea seeing as we will have to walk a bit before we reach the protection of the trees.

There are no bathroom facilities so please plan accordingly.
