Ballroom/Social Level III (Winter 2025)

Service Description

Time to take your dancing to the next level. This class is all about technique; the final touches that will polish up your dancing, give each dance its appropriate flavour and make you shine on the dance floor. A few advanced figures will be included in the session. You are ready for this class if you are already comfortable with a variety of steps in each of our 5 standard dances (Waltz, Fox Trot, Rumba, Cha Cha, Tango). Our classes are always meant to be fun and casual; no pressure, no stress. Your instructor Bob began ballroom dancing in 1978 and trained under John and Joyce Race and the renowned ballroom judge and teacher Yitka Buma. Bob also studied with two of Argentina’s greatest professional dancers, Carlos Gavito (Forever Tango) and Christina Rey (A Rose for Mr. Tango). He joined the Toronto Argentine Cultural Association’s dance troupe, Los Milongueros in 1993 with his dance partner Ansa Toikenen and performed for thirteen years. He has danced at the Roy Thomson Hall, The DuMaurier Centre, The Premier Dance Theatre and numerous corporate functions and Tango festivals across Canada. Note: Price includes 13% Tax
